on tuesday i went to leeds university to have a taster session of a different language and to do a french presentation
First we had a lesson to learn the basics of italian (hello, my name is, where i live etc)
which, of course, i forgot about as soon as i went thruogh the next door into my next lesson. We had an italian quiz about some buildings and that 'david' statue (where it was) and where this sort of pasta came from--mainly i just took a random shot at them all and hoped for the best-but it was only a fun quiz so we got to bin it, i nmade sure no-one saw my score lol
we also did a presentation in french and the woman (who was speaking english at the university but is originally from france and speaks french) said i was really good at french and i had a good french accent
overall it was a fun day and it was away from school which was better
